Teaching Table explores emerging tangible technologies to develop and employ physical manipulatives for educational purposes, in this case tracking of tagged objects on a table-top sensing and display surface. The project targets pre-kindergarten children, aiming to help them develop their fundamental math and language skills in a way that integrates with existing school curricula and includes assessment tools for teachers and mentors to track their progress.
